keep-together.within-page does not work

  1. I tried to keep a block on the same page, using <fo:block keep-together.within-page="always"> . It seems like ignores this while the apache renderer behaves like it should.
I added a block with a couple of rows and then put plenty of rows above it to see if the whole block would be pushed to the next page but it didn't. It was cut off when the page was full and continued on the next page. In apache, the whole block was moved to the next page if it didn't fit, which is the correct behaviour if i understand it correctly.
The same goes for a table row with the property keep-together.within-page. doesn't work

The rendering engine is a port of Apache FOP 0.20.4. Check the FOP archives for details of supported keeps.

Looking at the source, it does not appear that keep-together.within-page is handled at all.

keep-together is implemented in FO.NET. I use it heavily.
It only works when set as an attribute on a table-row. To make use of this, one can create "blind tables," which are tables created solely for the keep-together.

Hi, I also have the same problem. I have tried many places, including table-row and block, with keep-together, and it does not work. Did anyone get the answer for this. Please advise. Thanks
